Litha joined the Centre in 2015 as a candidate attorney. She was admitted as an attorney in May 2016 and has 6 years post admission experience as well as right of appearance in the High Court. She has an LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law – with a focus on socio-economic rights from the University of Pretoria . She is a Common Purpose American Express Leadership Academy 2020 Alumni. She has a certificate in International Child Law from Leiden University. She also has a Strategic Leadership certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science – University of Pretoria.

Litha has been involved in cases dealing with child adoption, the protection of the identities of child victims, witnesses & offenders as well as children with disruptive behavioural difficulties needing proper care and state interventions. Litha guest lectures at the University of Pretoria child law undergraduate class as well as Wits Journalism/Media Monitoring Africa’s Reporting of Children in the Media Course at the University of the Witwatersrand. She also serves on the National Technical Intersectoral Committee on Child Justice as well as the National Technical Intersectoral Committee on Sexual Offences.
