In December 2022, CCL submitted its comments on the Draft National Public Works & Infrastructure Plan 2050 Phase 2 to the Department of Public Works & Infrastructure.
The submission covers CCL’s concerns regarding inadequate infrastructure in full-service schools, budgeting, building and development of schools for children with disabilities in line with the Norms and Standards. CCL further calls for a concerted effort to ensure disability-inclusive planning, monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure projects related to basic education for children in ordinary, special and full-service/ resource schools.
