JOIN OUR SCHOOL CAMPAIGN!

Autism South Africa, Down Syndrom South Africa and the National Council of & for Persons with Disabilities have received hundreds of complaints from parents of children with disabilities, who are currently out of school. These parents have shared the difficulties they face when trying to enrol their children into school.

These organisations are now working on collecting information to present to the national Department of Education in order to demand that they place your and all other children with disabilities into school.

In order to do this we need you to fill in a form telling us about your child and how long your child has been out of school.

COMMENT ON THE PROPOSED CHILDREN'S COURT RULES AND FORMS 

The Rules Board for Courts of Law (Rules Board) resolved to develop the rules for the Children's Courts of the country. In order to carry out such task, a Task Team was established to investigate, research, review and recommend the draft rules for consideration and approval by the Rules Board.

The draft rules and forms recommended by the Task Team were approved by the Rules Board for the purpose of inviting submission of comments. The proposed Children's Court Rules and Forms have been released for comment. Comments are to be submitted by 7 December 2018. Please see below for more information:
